Why & How Does Troop 711 Camp

Part of your Trailman's growth comes through character development. The best way to develop his character is to put him into situations that challenge him to grow. 

Based upon experience, Trail Life and Troop 711 both agree that these challenges come about when your Trailman is put in an outdoor environment where he needs to learn how to provide for himself and others. To give him the opportunity to grow, we aim to camp at least once a month during our program year.

If your Trailman's dad/guardian wants to consistently attend overnight outings, he will need to be cleared by the Home Office. That process is called becoming a Registered Adult (more information at this link).
